Who we are
Solardirt is a division of Phoenix Milcham, LLC. This policy covers solardirt.com and the Build Request form on it. Questions: start@solardirt.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into the Build Request form:
- Your name and email address
- Your company, if you choose to give it (optional)
- Project type, budget range, and timeline
- The description of what you are building
Our server also records the IP address a submission came from, together with the submission itself, as a basic anti-abuse and rate-limiting measure.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not run third-party analytics on this site.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
- We do not send marketing email to addresses submitted through the form.
How we use it
Solely to read your enquiry, reply to it, and discuss the work. Submissions are delivered to our own mailbox by email and retained in our email and server logs.
Who else sees it
We do not use a third-party form service. A submission passes through the infrastructure that runs the site and delivers the mail:
- Our hosting provider, which runs the site and stores its logs
- Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site as DNS and proxy
- Our email provider, which carries and stores the message
These providers process the data on our behalf in order to operate the service.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email for as long as the business relationship or record is useful to us. Server logs roll over on the hosting provider's own schedule. Ask us and we will delete your enquiry.
Your choices
Write to start@solardirt.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — for example to object to processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above.
